Trailtalks’s movement based format is both highly cathartic & conducive to sharing; it obviates pressure I’ve felt previously in an office based context, & is harmonious with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based approach. I’ve been seeing Megan Perry, a therapist with Trailtalk two to three times a month. We walk various trails in Park City, irrespective of season. Beyond her thorough training, substantial CBT knowledge base, & empathetic nature, Megan’s sharp mind astutely extracts deeper patterns of behavior nesting that have often otherwise been difficult for me to see. she has helped me identify many areas & processes of problematic engrained thinking, & has helped me craft feasible strategies for addressing said challenges. Her balance of compassion & focus contribute significantly to the purgative, productive nature of our sessions. For each hour of therapy it’s clear she devotes at least an equal amount of outside time reviewing issues we’ve discussed & crafting worksheets or potential approaches for us to discuss & further refine in session. Megan has contributed significantly to my increased personal, interpersonal, & professional health /happiness & success over the past two years.
