Trailblazer & Therapist
Amanda is a graduate student currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialty. She earned her BSN in 2015 from DeSales University and has worked as a registered nurse in the Burn ICU, home health, and community mental health. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and takes advantage of having the Appalachian Mountains as her backyard.
Amanda’s training background through her Master’s degree is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She enjoys working with clients with depression and anxiety.
Amanda has always used hiking as her own form of therapy and mental health maintenance. In addition to enjoying outdoor activities, Amanda is an avid thrift shopper. She is looking forward to walking and talking with Trailtalk for her therapy rotation!
