Sarah MacCombie
Sarah (she/they) grew up close to the farmlands and forests of Central New Jersey. She attended The University of Scranton and earned a B.A. in Health Sciences and an M.S. in Occupational Therapy. She has been practicing occupational therapy with adults with various mental and physical health conditions. In 2017 she attended the California Institute of Integral Studies with a focus on Transpersonal, Spiritual and Integral Counseling Psychology. Her current therapeutic approach draws from depth psychology, trauma-informed therapy, somatic therapy, Gestalt therapy, and couples/family/child/relational therapy. She has been practicing psychotherapy at the Utah Pride Center since June 3, 2019 and Trailtalk since October 2020.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to spend time nurturing her soul by connecting with friends and family, hugging trees, backpacking through Utah, and dancing multiple times a day. Sarah’s life purpose is to connect deeply with herself and the Earth and to move from that place in service of life and love. It is Sarah’s passion and honor to support others in being, expressing and living from authentic selfhood in times of both challenge and ease.
