Trailblazer & Therapist
Stefan earned his Master of Social Work from Brigham Young University. His passion in therapy is in treating distress related to faith crises, existential questions, and the role of spirituality. Stefan is also proficient in working with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, physical illness. He has training in CBT, ACT, narrative therapy, trauma-informed psychotherapy, mindfulness approaches, and is LGBTQ+ affirming. Stefan has a passion for incorporating nature, wilderness settings, and animal interaction as therapeutic tools.
In his spare time, Stefan enjoys writing and listening to podcasts and audiobooks as a means to continually learn with hopes of publishing books and hosting his own podcast one day. He enjoys hiking in the mountains with his dog Luca. He is an amateur indoor gardener, learning more about plants and the positive health benefits of gardening. Stefan sees clients on Mondays and Wednesdays in Provo, on the trail, or via Telehealth.
